Boeing AH-64 Apache Combat Helicopter

The Boeing  AH-64 Apache is the twin turboshaft attack helicopter of the USA The helicopter began as the model 77 design by hughes helicopter for American army to replace their old AH-1 Cobra. First flown on 30 September 1975 and full production started from 1982 After that Boeing  defanse space & security delivered most advanced variant AH-64D to the US army in 1997 more than 2400 Apaches produced till now. The helicopter has tailwheel-type tendom cockpit for a 2 crew member.  Its sensors are very good  with night vision system and features like nose mounted sensor suit for target acquisition. If we talk about armament the apache has 30 mm M230 chain gun and it has four hard points mounted on stub wing. The most advanced feature of Apache is it has helmet mounted display so that either the pilot or gunner can fire tha 30 mm gun and making the gun track head moments it means they can fire where they look. The helicopter was designed to perform front-line  environment in all weather and also operate during day and night during adverse weather conditions. It can locate upto 250+ Target's simultaneously within 51 km range and its a very good range in face to face Combat. Although it's designed by US army but now many countries operate this highly advanced attack Apache helicopter like india , Egypt , isreal.
